3 Destinations you can’t miss if you are in Ontario, Canada.

Niagara Falls

I was so happy to visit Canada after 12 years when I first visited I was 15 years old. I decided to visit again because I wanted to explore the west part of Canada since my first time was just on the east side.

I flew Lisbon-Brussels, stay there for a day, and then finally Brussels-Iceland-Toronto.

The next morning we went to Niagara Falls, for the ones who haven’t been there, you can visit them from the USA or Canada, which for me the best views are from Canada.

Niagara Falls is less than 2 hours from Toronto, the best way to get there is renting a car or take a bus, in my case our friend Tyler took us there in his car.
The bus costs around 20-30 Canadian dollars round trip. And one of the companies I recommend is Mega Bus

We arrived at 9 am, had breakfast in a Pancake house, and then our tour began on Clifton Hill Street, which seems like a small Disney world.

After that, we walked all the way that surround the falls until we got to one of them, and actually, that’s the nearest you can be from them.

Niagara-on-the-lake

Niagara-on-the-lake features a well-preserved 19th-century village and its charms. Browse the area walking, by car or bicycle visiting wineries and the George Fort National Historic Site.
You will find a lot of restaurants with this flower decor that makes the village so colorful and alive.

Toronto

Toronto is the most populous city in Canada, cosmopolitan as any other big city.

Toronto has a diverse array of public spaces, from city squares to public parks overlooking ravines. Nathan Phillips Square is the city’s main square in downtown, and forms the entrance to City Hall.

There are a lot of festivals to go during the summer, which it is perfect because the weather is amazing.

If you are looking to escape from the city chaos, Ontario also offers so many lakes and national parks very close to Toronto.

On the first of july people will be celabrating the 150th anniversary of Canada, so every province is getting ready for the big day!
